SPATEC is a 3-day forum of one-on-one meetings between spa owners, directors and design/management companies with leading spa suppliers and vendors from the following categories: Amenities, Apparel, Aromatherapy, Beauty Products, Body Toning, Fitness Equipment, Hydrotherapy, Linens/Robes/Towels, Manicure, Marine Therapies, Massage, Retail, Single Use Items, Skincare, Software, Spa Equipment, Sun Protection, Steam Baths, Tanning, Uniforms and everything relevant to the Spa and Beauty industry One-On-One Meetings There will be two SPATEC events in 2008 with different buyers at each event. The buyers are very carefully pre-qualified and only America's top spa operators of leading medium-to-large hotel resort, destination, athletic, medical and day spas will be invited to attend and meet with key leading domestic and international suppliers in a series of one-on-one meetings. Both buyers and suppliers get to choose who they would like to meet with and are each given a schedule of meetings. Each meeting is 20 minutes in length and takes place at the buyer meeting tables. These pre-arranged one-on-one meetings allow delegates to talk business and network in a way that is simply not possible with trade shows and conferences. Seminar Program To be announced. Networking Program Throughout the event, attendees meet each other through the official meeting program as well as during the breakfasts, lunches and dinners and other networking activities. Vendor Showcase In addition to the one-on-one meetings there is a vendor showcase. This is a table top exhibition for vendors to present their products or services to the buyers, allowing them additional opportunities to meet those buyers they were unable to meet during the normal meetings program. The Concept SPATEC is organized by McLean Events International in partnership with American Spa magazine and in association with SPA Magazine. SPATEC North America was launched in 2005 and takes place annually. McLean Events International organizes meeting forums worldwide across four industry sectors: Health & Fitness, Hotel Management, Conference & Incentive, Spa & Beauty. Fees and Registration Register by October 30 and receive an early bird discount of 10% for one event or 15% if you register for both Spring and Fall events. |
