Helping create the IFT experience, creative genius Damien Carney will serve as emcee for 2011. As one of the most accomplished hairstylists in the industry, recipient of multiple awards and world-renowned A-list and editorial
stylist, Carney’s wit and humor are sure to be a perfect fit.

Highlights of some of the International Fashion Theater presentations at ISSE Long Beach 2011:
Charlie Price: NAHA’s only two-time Hairstylist of the Year will showcase fashion and editorial concepts in a runway and salon context.
J’s: From Japan, this amazing artistic team will present, “Japan Trend 2011” and “Mirage of Carnival”. Two vibrant shows that combine skill and artistry.
Karg + Blackwell: These ISSE favorites will demonstrate new cutting techniques and present their newly launched book, “cut + color”.
Kim Vo: Celebrity stylist Kim Vo and his artistic team will share this season’s celebrity trends and present “Rock n’ Roll to the Red Carpet” – teaching you how to transform your clients into red-carpet divas.
Nick Arrojo: Along with the Arrojo Artistic Team, Nick will reveal the latest trends and techniques in scissor and razor cutting, and fashion-forward styling.
RUSK Creative Team: “Inspiring Hair all Over the World – One City at a Time” The RUSK Creative Team will unveil a new collection and trio of innovative cutting and styling techniques inspired by the world’s “Alpha” cities.
ISSE Long Beach 2011 will continue to feature the Technical Theater, Hands-On Education and the Latino Fashion Theater. More than 160 Complimentary Education classes will cover everything from hair, nails, skin and business practices. Continuing Education credits will again be offered for licensed massage therapists (CE credits – $25.00).
