Lifeline Skin Care,
the leading manufacturer of human stem cell skin care products, has named
SpaCare Group the USA distributor for their line of leading-edge skin care
products.
Stem cells are
being used in studies to combat many serious illnesses because of their unique
ability to be “non-specific” – they are able to take on the characteristics of
any tissue to which they are applied and make that tissue regenerate. The same
principle applies to skin. Lifeline Skin Care products contain an extract that
is derived from human non-embryonic stem cells using a patented process
developed by their parent company, International Stem Cell Corporation. This
extract combined with potent antioxidants has been proven in numerous controlled
scientific studies to thicken delicate skin that has lost some of its density,
make it more resilient, improve elasticity, boost and speed collagen and elastin
production, brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The stem
cells also have the ability to self-replicate, which means that the regenerative
effects on the skin are continuous, thereby encouraging ongoing new cell
production.
In several
controlled in vitro studies, human stem cell extracts have been proven to
upregulate the production of several key proteins. The following increases were
observed:
Epidermal growth
factors: +490%
Elastin: + 46%
Collagen A1: + 42%
and collagen A2–+ 55%
Keratinocyte growth
factors: +210%.
This increased
cellular activity causes:
•
Improved hydration
•
Increased elasticity
•
Improved brightness and more even
skin tone
•
Reduced appearance of fine lines
and wrinkles
Lifeline scientists
developed a patented process that extracts the most potent ingredients from
human stem cells, encapsulates them to protect efficacy and improve penetration,
and combines it with rich, potent antioxidants to deliver maximum benefits to
the deeper layers of the epidermis.
Melanie Edwards,
General Manager of SpaCare Group, says “This amazing product has everyone
excited, because it produces dramatic results while being an ethical way to take
advantage of stem cell technology. This is real science with real results, and
we are proud to offer it to our customers.”
“
This product uses the latest, cutting-edge bio-technology… long overdue in the
skin care market. We finally have something backed by real scientific evidence,”
said Linda Nelson, Director of Education and Training for Lifeline Skin Care.
“We’re very happy to be represented by SpaCare Group.”
Lifeline Skin Care
is a subsidiary of the International Stem Cell Corporation, the world leader in
human, non-embryonic stem cell research to study diseases and find cures, and
the first company to create human stem cell extracts from unfertilized eggs.
Profits from the sale of Lifeline skin care products are reinvested into the
research facility to enable further study in regenerative diseases including
Parkinson’s Disease, diabetes, corneal blindness and metabolic liver disease.
SpaCare Group is the skin care division of SpaEquip, Inc., the leading provider
of equipment and supplies to spas worldwide.
History
Dr. Elena Revazova, MD,
PhD was a world-renowned Russian scientist when she lost her daughter to
diabetes. Shortly after, her husband passed away. Alone and determined, Dr.
Revazova emigrated to the United States, where she worked as a volunteer
research scientist. She dedicated every waking moment to finding a cure for
diabetes. In the process, she discovered a new class of stem cells that promise
to change health care — and skin care.
Dr. Revazova
created the first non-embryonic human stem cells. These cells can proliferate
and live almost indefinitely. And with this discovery, stem cell cures for
incurable diseases — like Parkinson’s Disease, liver disease, and blindness —
now look promising.
Today, Dr. Revazova
holds 57 patents, including the patent on the process of creating human stem
cell extracts from unfertilized eggs, rather than embryos. The company she
founded, HYPERLINK

Stem Cell Corporation (ISCO, Lifeline’s parent) is the only source for these
ground-breaking stem cell skin creams.
Embryos are neither
created nor destroyed in ISCO’s stem cell research.
