The NCEA is proud to announce the winner of the 1st Gerson Award, Melissa M. Anderson, associate professor at Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lexington, Kentucky. Melissa is a licensed esthetics instructor and has been in the industry for over twenty-seven years, of which seventeen have been spent as a teacher.
The Gerson Award is given in honor of Mr. Gerson’s contribution to education of the esthetic professional. This years applications are due by August 32st, 2013. Applications can be found at www.ncea.tv/scholarships-grants
