The academy opened its doors in 2013 inside the ProRituals Salon in La Jolla, CA. The dedicated classroom and salon space allows ProRituals to host events for educators and stylist from across the industry. ProRituals offers special intensive two-day course every month, focused on cutting and coloring, great for salon professionals looking for the full ProRituals experience. This focus on education stems from the brand’s history – ProRituals was started as the European line, Jingles.
Academy classes are led by ProRituals Creative Director, Terrence Michael Renk. He has 25 plus years of beauty experience. Reno’s career in the salon industry includes time as a salon owner and a Hollywood stylist, giving him insight into all levels of the salon business. Renk is a recognized Emmy award winning stylist and has worked with many celebrities, on television commercials and on several television shows.
The ProRituals Academy’s two-day event will open with a “look and learn” for both cut and color shown on live models, followed by a hand-on workshop through instruction using ProRituals coloring placement techniques and haircutting systems.
