It was very porous and incredibly hard to comb through. As directed, I only used 1 drop of the Elixir for every ounce of haircolor and 2 drops of oil per one once of lightener that I used. I tested it with peroxides in different foils using 10, 20, 30 and 40 volume on good and damaged hair type. I was pleased at how great the hair felt after rinsing out the bleach. The overly porous hair really responded well to the Elixir! It wasn’t what I expect it to feel after using 40 volume on hair that damaged.
