Mary Campbell Promoted to Advertising Coordinator
(Golden, Colo., Feb. 17) – Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) today announced Angie Parris-Raney has been promoted to advertising manager for ABMP and its sister organization Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP). Mary Campbell has been promoted to advertising coordinator.
The primary publications for each organization are the award-winning Massage & Bodywork magazine and ASCP Skin Deepmagazine. There also are numerous online venues and sponsorship opportunities for advertisers, including website advertising and online sponsorships of the digital magazines. These venues are also available for Body Sense, a consumer publication massage therapists use to promote their practices with clients.
“We work hard to develop value for advertisers, and we reach more massage therapists than any other trade publisher as the nation’s largest massage membership organization,” Parris-Raney said. ABMP membership topped 76,000 massage therapists in early 2011.
Parris-Raney is a massage therapist with more than 1,300 hours of education in her field. Some of her interests have been in infant and pediatric massage, Thai massage and Japanese stone massage. Like many massage therapists, she left the corporate world for more fulfilling work and maintains a private practice on the side. She brings excellent management skills to the job, having served eight years at International Logistics in Denver. Nearing nine years of employment with ABMP, Parris-Raney works with disabled and orphaned children in Peru, is married, and is an avid Colorado sports enthusiast.
Campbell is assuming a greater role in the advertising department after working in the communication services department at ABMP/ASCP since 2008. Previously the advertising assistant, Campbell has been promoted to advertising coordinator. Her experience at previous organizations includes work as a membership coordinator and in human resources. Campbell is married and is the mother of two daughters. She lives in Evergreen.
