BABOR Creates Eight New Spa Treatment Experiences
Palm Beach, FL – November 1st, 2006 – Consumers today are much more educated about skincare and body treatments and not just visiting a spa on their birthday or Mother’s Day anymore. They are frequent customers in search of total wellness?mind, body and soul. In a recent survey by the Hartman Group, 32.2 million U.S. spa-goers revealed that they have been to a spa within the past 12 months, and the majority treated spa experiences as a mix of interests that ran the gamut from indulgence to healing therapy.
This fall BABOR will launch a series of eight new luxurious spa treatments that incorporate all five senses: sight; sound; scent; touch; and taste—designed to pamper, indulge and meet clients’ every expectation, making wellness—a truly unforgettable journey.
BABOR’s new spa treatments will transport clients to a range of different wellness worlds: initiate them into the secrets of the deep sea; introduce them to the Pacific Rim with its traditional art of healing and beauty treatments; whisk them off to warm, soothing multi-sensory worlds where they can truly relax; immerse them in the extraordinary freshness of a volcanic lake; and let them feel the pure powerful effects of the herbs and berries that grow close to BABOR’s headquarters in Germany.

The new BABOR wellness treatments offer an unmatched blend of a soothing sense of well-being designed to arouse the five senses, relax or rejuvenate; firm and tone the body improve skin, eliminate impurities and enhance body contours.
Thanks to the very flexible, modular structure of the treatments, clients will be offered a highly personal and intimate wellness experience. Suggested retail prices range from $100-$300 for these new treatments, depending on length of time and products used. A variety of coordinating retail products will also be available in spas—allowing clients to savor the wellness experience and the results of the treatment at home for as long as possible.
