This is a opportunity to work side by side with the masters of cosmetic
chemistry!
This course is designed to provide the esthetician with an in
depth understanding of the ingredients in cosmetic products, how theyare
formulated in the laboratory and how products are manufactured.What you will
learn is; basic laboratory equipment, weighing and measuringingredients,
using the pH meter, emulsions technology, creams,gels serums and how to
design a formula. Class participants make sixproducts ranging from a skin
cleanser to an anti-aging product. Classparticipants are encouraged to bring
a product with them for analysis.
Peter T. Pugliese, MD practiced
family medicine for a generation before dedicatingover 40 years to the
science of skin and aging. He is the author of many publications,including
the 2005 landmark text, Advanced Professional Skin Care, Medical Edition.He
is considered to be the most honored and beloved educator int he professional
skin care industry, both in the United States and abroad.
