(LAS VEGAS, NV) – Intu Corporation, a Nevada-based professional massage therapy company, announced today they are participating in Justin Timberlake’s Shriners Hospital for Children Open, one of the many charities they support. Intu Corporation continually lends a hand by helping and healing their community through multiple charity events such as “Over The Edge” for Special Olympics of Nevada and Women In Film. They are sharing with the world that there are many facets to good health, including mental, physical and financial and all are enhanced through massage therapy.
Intu Corporation is best known for offering first class massage therapy services in some of the most notable poker tournaments, golf tournaments, corporate events and casinos in Las Vegas, as well as, a few other cities across the United States. In June of 2009, Intu Corporation created a table massage division which they have included in their service package to numerous hotels and local clientele. Beyond therapy services, Intu’s consulting division has proven to be a valuable asset to many of their clients both personally and professionally.
Intu’s owner, Deanna Edwards, has a background in occupational therapy and an education in massage therapy. She decided to concentrate her efforts towards entertainment and convention services more than 11 years ago focusing on providing a unique service to individuals participating in poker tournaments, golf tournaments, corporate meetings and special events. The idea really took off and currently, Intu Corporation is involved in a number of high-profile events, as well as, day-to-day services at many Las Vegas casinos including the Mirage, Mandalay Bay, ARIA and Bellagio and other casinos throughout the country.
Edwards also loves the opportunity to give back and be an example of overall good health and well being. Outstanding charity events, like Justin Timberlake’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Women In Film and Special Olympics, provide that opportunity to lend a healing hand.
Special Olympics, an organization that is very near to Deanna’s heart, appeals to her longstanding education and passion for occupational and massage therapy. She was still in high school when her mother got her involved with Special Olympics and she continued volunteering through out college. Edwards helped to coach basketball and track and field and one of her proudest moments and greatest joys was when her team went to the state Special Olympics that was held at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her contributions to Women In Film, an organization that is dedicated to uplifting women in the entertainment and media industries, allows her to support her fellow women who are looking to blaze there own path much like Deanna did with her own business.
Intu’s services, fully licensed by the State of Nevada and Clark County, are not limited to casinos and gaming environments. Intu Corporation works in any high-volume environment and since their chair massage does not require an elaborate set up it can be done any place people can be seated. Whether the event host chooses to provide the service on a complimentary basis or have attendees pay, they find that people feel nurtured and pampered and are able to focus better, both mentally and physically, on the task at hand.
