Memorial Fund is holding its annual fundraising event on Sunday,
Sept 30th at the award winning
Wellness Center for North West Jersey LLC, located at Randolph
Medical Arts Building, 765 Route 10 East, Suite 106, Randolph, NJ 07869.
The
charity event invites the participants to relax and rejuvenate while
experiencing the latest trends in beauty, wellness and fitness, with complimentary
beauty services while enjoying delicious light fare and a host of interactive
beauty and wellness stations designed to pamper, educate, and rejuvenate the
senses! Prizes and premier
brand Beauty Baskets are up for grabs on their pre –event online auction, as
well as their live event silent auction and there will be Beauty Bags for
everyone featuring all of our favorite products to take home and continue the
“Spa Experience”.

ABOUT THE STEVEN FARINA MEMORIAL FUND
The Steven Farina Memorial
Fund was established in 2008 as a
way to give back to the students, families, staff and board members at American
Christian School for their love, support and generosity towards our family when
our youngest son Steven suddenly passed away.
The self-less actions displayed towards us by our school family during this
difficult time touched our hearts in such a way that we knew we were among Gods
people. We also knew we could never express how grateful and thankful we were
for everything that was done for us, but wanted to in some way.
With much prayer and a desire to bless those who have blessed us, the Steven
Farina Memorial Fund was created. We knew that our son would never have the
opportunity to physically be a part of this sweet school but in honor of his
memory, we could raise funds to contribute financially to the growth of a place
where other children could, including our three boys Daniel, Jared and Joseph.
We believe in the importance of Christian education and the significance of this
fund, exclusive to the American Christian School. Because the needs of this
organization will vary, we have not limited this fund to any one specific
program. Our intent is that as a specific need or enhancement opportunity
arises, we will prayerfully consider, discuss, then collectively agree with the
school's administration and board as to how the monies from this fund can aid as
an effective part of the completed program vision and purpose.
100% of your donation goes directly into the fund to be used to benefit the
chosen project. Please consider joining us in our efforts to help make this
school everything God has called it to be while having an impact on generations
of children learning how to excel academically for Christ.

PS: To date, the fund has aided in establishing the following:
– A sports club with necessary athletic equipment for the children
– The purchasing of an official soccer goal and nets
– Team jerseys have been acquired
– Coaches and assistants have been compensated
Currently, we are looking to distribute the funds towards the school's Campus
Beautification Project, an
effort to restore and improve the school grounds, including the sports and play
areas that were damaged from the big storms in 2011, by:
– Establishing a playground and courtyard area
– Providing picnic tables and benches
– Painting murals
– Creating designated areas for various sports such as volleyball, track,
basketball, etc.
– Enhancing the existing landscape with trees, bushes and flowers
