California Spa Professionals will soon have great to celebrate, the merge of The
San Diego Spa Association and Southern
California Spa Directors Association (SCSDA) into
a newly formed organization The
Spa Connection (TSC).
Dana Stallings,
San Diego Spa Association Founder, enthuses “with the launch of the San Diego
Spa Association, it was thrilling, and overwhelming, to see how energized
everyone was to have an association happen at a more regional level! That
enthusiasm, coupled with the Spa Connection Team’s desire not to overwhelm
professionals with overlapping events that duplicated efforts, led to the birth
of the collaboration of the two groups. We are also very excited to be
able to initially offer Spas the opportunity to be involved as members without a
membership fee. Vendors and Preferred Partners will also have incredible
opportunities to network with this powerful group of leading spas and showcase
their products in a more intimate environment!”, says Dana Stallings.
“Our Mission
is to connect industry professionals, nurture their personal and professional
growth, and enhance their ability to network and succeed in the spa industry.
Our purpose is to become a localized group and have honest feedback within our
specific marketplace” states Jim Croghan, Co-Founder of SCSDA.

Co-founder of SCSDA, agrees.

This network has manifested into a collaboration of event hosting, philanthropic
efforts and support of each other. We understand that there is enough business
out there for all of us; we have chosen to help, bolster, mentor and support our
counterparts to nature a healthy and thriving industry”.

Director of Education adds, “Education is the foundation of the future of any
industry. Bellus Academy is excited to bring an educational component into the
association allowing our members to contribute to the ongoing development of
education for the ever growing spa industry.
