Atlanta, GA (July 17, 2015) – In a special mid-year election, the Green Spa Network has expanded its board of directors to include Grant Bruce, Director of the Life in Balance Spa at Miraval in Arizona and Bryan Kindred, Director of Lodging for Sundance Resort in Utah.
Since arriving at Miraval, Grant Bruce has volunteered his time with Green Spa Network as the Co-Membership Chair and currently volunteers on an International Spa Association (ISPA) Taskforce. Prior to joining Miraval, Grant has worked with other top brands including The Spa at Trump, Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venetian, WTS International, Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, and W Chicago Lakeshore.
Bryan Kindred has been involved with Sundance Resort in Utah since 1995 and currently sits on the Executive Committee, overseeing many resort operations including Spa and Wellness. His experience also includes opening the ultra-luxury Resort at Paws Up in Montana as General Manger and five years as President and CFO for Thrive, a retail and manufacturing company in Utah.
“We are excited to welcome Grant and Bryan to the GSN board,” said GSN board governance chair, Jim Chenevey, of Living Earth Crafts. “These two bright individuals add a fresh perspective to GSN’s ongoing efforts to keep green practices effective and the support from the iconic Sundance and Miraval resorts underscores the growing importance spa properties everywhere are placing on sustainability.”
