
Panel of Experts Share Advice for a Successful NAHA Photo Shoot
Phoenix, AZ (September 5, 2014) – To continue the success
and excitement of the North American Hairstyling Awards’ (NAHA) 25th Anniversary
Celebration, the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) and Michael Shaun Corby
have developed a 3-part web series to introduce NAHA to emerging stylists and
first-time entrants. Known as the Oscars of Hair, NAHA is the preeminent
photographic hairstyling competition in the U.S. and is internationally
renowned. Placing as a NAHA finalist can forever alter the course of a beauty
professional’s career, enhance technical skill and forge lasting professional
relationships.
The third and final webinar of this 3-part series will
take place Monday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Michael Shaun Corby, NAHA
committee member and Global Creative Director ofAlterna Professional Haircare,
Charlie Price, two-time NAHA Hairstylist of the Year Award winner, Sherri
Jessee, award-winning editorial hairstylist, and Damien Carney, Founder of DC
Professional will guide attendees through the “before,” “during” and “after”
stages of their NAHA photo shoot. They will also discuss session planning, team
building and management, and working with a photographer on any budget. This
panel will provide an intimate look at the hairstyling competition that has put
countless industry professionals on the map. This 75-minute session also
includes a Q&A with the panel.
