Children around the world undergoing medical treatment for serious illnesses struggle to meet their basic nutritional needs. In addition to the difficulties presented by the illnesses themselves, the often draining treatments make it a challenge for hospitals and care centers to ensure sufficient diets with essential nutrients, proteins and all-around healthy calories.
When Boldijarre Koronczay, of , was just four years old he was diagnosed with Leukemia and given a 0.1% chance of survival. However, his family and caregivers fought hard to help him win the battle. A very important component of this was ensuring that he was well nourished with plenty of wholesome ingredients.
That’s why Boldijarre and the Koronczay family founded Eminence Kids Foundation, with the goal of donating organic fruits, vegetables and juices to sick children around the world. Now the Foundation has served over 70,000 children worldwide who are engaged in their own fights to survive and thrive.
